Care steps

  1. Check for metallic trim or hand-painted decoration before the first wash.
  2. Plain glazed pieces go straight in the dishwasher.
  3. Hand-painted and metallic-rimmed pieces get a hand wash with mild detergent.
  4. Never move a piece straight from the freezer to a hot oven or hot liquid: this is what actually cracks fired clay.
  5. Store with a soft liner between stacked plates to prevent chipping.
