Polyester resists water and UV rather than absorbing them, so a rug or a cushion in polyester dries fast and holds its colour through a season outdoors as easily as a year indoors.

Care steps

  1. Shake out or vacuum loose dirt before washing.
  2. Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, or wipe outdoor pieces clean with a damp cloth.
  3. Air dry, polyester dries significantly faster than natural fibres.
  4. Avoid ironing directly on the fibre; use a low heat setting with a cloth barrier if needed.
  5. Store dry to prevent mildew, especially on outdoor cushions.

Do

Do not

bleach, iron directly on the fibre, or store it damp.
