Cotton makes up most of the SantHome textile range: duvet covers, sheets, bath towels and organic cotton beach towels. Washed right, it gets softer with the years instead of thinner. This guide covers temperatures, drying and the small habits that keep cotton bright.

Care steps

  1. Sort by colour, and wash towels separately from bedding since towels shed lint.
  2. Wash at 40°C or below with a mild detergent.
  3. Skip fabric softener on towels, it coats the fibre and cuts absorbency.
  4. Tumble dry on low or line dry, both are fine for cotton.
  5. Store fully dry, cotton left even slightly damp can pick up a musty smell.
