How to care

Silk is a protein fibre, closer to hair than to cotton, and heat is what damages it. Everything below is about keeping the temperature down.

Care steps

  1. Turn the pillowcase inside out before washing.
  2. Hand wash in cool water, 30°C or below, with a pH-neutral or silk-specific detergent.
  3. Press out excess water gently, never wring or twist the fabric.
  4. Dry flat or on a hanger, away from direct sunlight and heat.
  5. Iron on the reverse at low heat only if needed.

Do

hand wash cool, dry flat, iron on the reverse at low heat.

Do not

wring, tumble dry, bleach, or use a biological detergent.
